3G is shutting down in the UK. Vodafone, O2, EE, and Three have all announced that they will switch off their 3G networks.
This is part of a wider industry initiative to switch off 3G across the country. It affects all business and personal users who rely on these networks for mobile data.
The switch-off will enable the mobile network operators to focus on upgrading to faster, more reliable, and energy-efficient 4G and 5G networks.
